Bears, Halibut, and a Bed
$3,250/person
This 3 Day/2 Night package is an all inclusive stay for a minimum of 2 people - this includes travel by boat from Homer, a full day halibut charter, 2 bear-viewing excursions, all meals, and lodging at the beautiful Snug Harbor Cannery.
A typical itinerary for our Bears, HaliBUTs, and a Bed package:
This trip begins with us picking you up by boat in Homer and enjoying a scenic cruise to Snug Harbor with coffee and snacks for the ride. Once we arrive, the rest of your day will include orientation, history discussion, and tour of the cannery, world-class bear viewing, a delicious dinner in the historical Galley, followed by a bonfire on the beach. You will also have the option to enjoy a steam in our beautiful sauna, and join the "Snug Harbor Polar Bear Club" by jumping in the scenic bay to cool down!
Your second day at Snug Harbor will include more unmatched bear viewing, and other tide-dependent adventures including stops at some of our favorite places: Fossil Point and Duck Island.
On your last day, we will fuel you up with an amazing breakfast, and then depart Snug Harbor for a fun-filled day of halibut fishing before dropping you back off in Homer!

Bears and a Bed
$1,500/person
Ditch the lines and the crowds and come see the bears in the most authentic way possible! In small groups of no more than 12 passengers, come experience the bears in the wild, untouched Alaska that we know and love. This package is an all inclusive 1 night, fly-in trip. The price of this package includes the roundtrip travel to and from Kenai, world-class bear viewing and other tide dependent sightseeing, lodging at the beautiful Snug Harbor Cannery, and all meals! Package up your Alaskan wilderness experience and save!
A typical itinerary for Bears and a Bed:
Your day will start with a scenic flight over the Cook Inlet to Chisik Island, where we will pick you up by boat. The rest of your day will include bear viewing from the viewing deck of the boat and/or by foot, a stop at the beautiful Duck Island bird rookery , a tour of the historical Snug Harbor cannery grounds, and a salmon bake on the beach. You will also have the option to enjoy a steam in our beautiful sauna, and join the "Snug Harbor Polar Bear Club" by jumping in the ocean to cool down! After a night in our historically charming rooms, you will be served breakfast in the Galley before your flight back to Kenai.

Getting Here
We are truly off the grid and round trip travel by boat from Homer (typically 2.5 – 4 hours) or by plane from Kenai (typically 30-45 mins) is included in all vacation packages.
